The Story of the Seven Heavenly Virtues & the Seven Deadly Sins

We are pleased to announce that our six-year effort to build a Mechanical Morality Theater at the Ukrainian Cultural Center to help tell the Story of the Seven Heavenly Virtues and the Seven Deadly Sins is finally nearing completion!

Two extremely talented young artists from Lviv – Iryna Ukhankina and Pavel Priymich – are currently in residence and are hard at work on the theater. You can follow the development of their creation – and watch the mechanism for the virtues and sins being built – by visiting us at the Center’s St. Hildegard’s Courtyard here in Tallinn on Laboratoorium 22.

We would like to thank all of our donors, consultants, and project participants including theologians, artists, as well as children of Italy, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Ukraine who shared with us their vision of both virtues and sins.
